Terms and Conditions for Interior Design Geek Limited Interior Design Services
1. Introduction
By contacting or engaging Interior Design Geek Limited for interior design services, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If the client does not agree to these terms, they should refrain from using these services.
2. Services
We provide interior design consultancy, planning, and related services as specified in our agreed project proposal with you.
3. Fees and Payment
All fees are payable as agreed upon in writing. Payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified. See your project proposal for specific project payment agreements.
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in designs, drawings, and specifications provided by us remain ours unless transferred explicitly.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and timely information and cooperate with us to facilitate smooth service delivery.
6. Amendments and Revisions
Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon and may incur additional charges.
7. Cancellation and Termination
Termination of services must be made in writing. Upon termination, you shall pay for all work completed up to the date of termination.
8. Procurement and Liability
Interior Design Geek Limited may assist in sourcing and purchasing products and services on behalf of the client. However, the client acknowledges that The Interior Design Geek Limited does not guarantee or accept liability for the quality, performance, or safety of such products and services once purchased in the name of the client.
The responsibility for products and services purchased rests solely with the supplier or retailer from whom they are bought. The client further agrees that any purchase or contract made with third-party suppliers or retailers is subject to the terms and conditions of those suppliers, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which provides protection for consumers in retail transactions. The interior designer disclaims any responsibility for scope of supply, payment terms, delivery and acceptance, warranties and dispute resolution, defects, damages, or non-compliance related to these products and services once purchase of product or service in name of the client is agreed and paid for by the client.
9. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interior Design Geek Limited shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the services provided, including but not limited to indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We do not accept responsibility for any damage to property or injury caused by third-party contractors or suppliers. Our advice and designs are provided based on the information available to us and do not guarantee specific results or compliance with all building regulations unless explicitly stated.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Entire Agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
TERMS & CONDITIONS (Design Surgery)
By booking your Design Surgery with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
CANCELLATION
We may, in exceptional circumstances, need to cancel or re-arrange your Design Surgery.
If this is necessary and you cannot make another available time, we will refund your payment.
If you wish to cancel your Design Surgery you may do so up to 24 hours before the video call is booked and will receive a full refund.
Any cancellations within 24 hours of the Design Surgery time and date will not be refunded.
If you wish to change the time or date of your Design Surgery you may do so up to 24 hours before the video call is booked and we will move the video call to the agreed new slot.
FEES
The cost of a 60 minute Design Surgery is £216. This includes the standard rate of VAT (20%).
We accept all major credit cards and payment will be processed immediately.
REFUNDS
Refunds for cancellation will be credited to your account within 7 working days.
